Antarctic 1929 Wilkins South Shetlands Deception Island - Antarctic flight cover to USA

Falklands ½d, 2d KGV  cover sent from Deception Island, South Shetlands Falkland Island Dependencies to USA. Flown on Sir Hubert Wilkins first Antarctic flight. Back stamped Stanley 11 March 1929. Addressed in Hubert Wilkins' handwriting. Carried on the "Fleurus" which rescued the expedition.
